iFixit is manufacturing OEM service tools for Microsoft Surface devices

iFixit proclaimed that it has begun selling official Microsoft Shallow remedy tools — only only sure enough service partners. Known for its all-encompassing online tech parts store, the keep company now manufactures and distributes the Microsoft-designed tools in a partnership that will establish businesses and schools Sir Thomas More options to fix the popular Rise up devices.

This new partnership is not the first OEM deal for iFixit. Motorola has secondhand iFixit as an official source for its OEM smartphone parts, then has HTC with its Vive — but for the Microsoft Surface, the tools are available only to members of iFixit Pro (the fellowship's complimentary wholesale program available to businesses) and Microsoft's partners.

Available tools include a battery spread over to protect batteries from getting pierced during repair (preventing fires), a "debonding" cradle to assistanc cut the adhesive holding the screen field glass (and prevent accidental over-intrusion), and a weighted entrap bench vise to decent Ra-adhere a replaced screen.

Microsoft Surface tablets and laptops have non been specially easy to fix in the past. Wiens mentioned how vocal iFixit had been criticizing Microsoft's designs and irreparability over the years simply said Microsoft reached bent on the party stating it cherished to improve.
